Wow! It has almost been one year...

For me there's one week of vacation. And it seems to be very boring!

What has happened so far?

• My camera works even worse than it used to do in the past! Crappy cam!


• I bought a tripod! It was surprisingly cheap but is pretty neat!


• I wrote my school leaving exams... and passed!


• Went to Munich airport and had some great shots!


• I borrowed an old SLR camera (unfortunately not a digital one) from a a friend.. let's see what my first pictures will turn out [actually the cam isn't working free from defects any more).


• I have nothing to do due to vacation! That means a lot of boredom! (Except cool gaming and movie nights with friends or going to the nearby lake!)


• I met some more cool, funny, interesting, nice, cute... persons on deviantART!


• I found a lot, lot more interesting, exciting,.. photos and other pieces of art on deviantArt!


• "Our" trip to France (Normandy) and Austria will be soon!


• Afterwards my professional education is going to start!

If you think.. "What the hell is it?"
Yessss... I made myself my first avatar for deviantart. You can have a guess what it is - if it's not obvious (at least for some of us). Many new things I could tell you if I remembered them all! Er, one step back to the avatar.. do you like it? I don't know if the time is chosen that well.

These days.. I'm writing my Abitur which is - if you pass all the exams - your qualification for university matriculation here in Germany. I hope that I'll pass! o_O English exam was on last Friday.. it was pretty okay - at least I hope it was! Let's see.. nothing can be changed, so what about it.

The speed of my Internet leaves nothing to be desired... it's really kind of scary to see how slow Internet can be (in times of DSL ö_O). Furthermore deviantART seems to be even far slower than other websites.. depressing!


Thanks to all the people who watch me! (I'll take a closer look at all of you if I have the time [if I don't already do so; let's say that will be not later than in two months]!)

My camera still doesn't work properly.
(I would probably have a lot of pictures on my HDD if dA would worked as I want it to... and though I do have a lot there!)

Sad.. I forgot what I wanted to write - no problem! Have fun.
Next exams for me will be on Tuesday and Friday next week!

Yesterday.. I was sitting there.. playing with my cam. And suddenly it rushed out of my hands and flew some metres across my room. Now it's broken... furthermore I can't find my alternative rechargeable replacement batteries.

It should be kinda easily fixed.. I hope that's not an exclusion of warranty.. or that it does not become that expensive.


Edit: I have been to the store where I bought the camera. The shop assistant (after having me sent through the whole store to another building where the customer service is located) told me that it's (obviously) a downfall damage. And that a repair would cost approx. 150-160 € (for such a shitty battery enclosure[?])... (and that where the camera is worth about 250 €!!). And it would already cost some money just for looking what the hell is broken.. or if something more is broken: 40-50 €. NO REPAIR included! o___O If that's no (cheap) service?

Fortunately it's not such a big damage.. of course I kept the camera for myself... I consider writing to Nikon themselves.. but I don't really know. There's little hope for fair dealing...
